UK Attorney General makes strong case for pro bono

The Attorney General, Lord Goldsmith, renewed his call to law firms to commit to pro bono as he welcomed the launch of the not-for-profit organisation, Advocates for International Development, at Middle Temple this week. The organisation will see lawyers from firms including Clifford Chance, Linklaters and Weil Gotshal & Manges, work, alongside senior barristers, the judiciary and academics on international pro bono projects.
