The Phone-A-Lawyer program has been part of Law Day for more than five years. The program is built around the efforts of Ontario Bar Association member lawyers who volunteer their time and expertise for a half-day by opening their phone lines to provide pro bono legal information to the public. The goal of this project is to give community members access to free legal information.

Advertisements in local community newspapers will announce names and contact information of participating lawyers in communities across Ontario.

This program has been very well received in past years and the Law Day Committee looks forward to further expanding the program to include more regions throughout Ontario.
