The legal profession has a unique responsibility to promote access to justice in Ontario. A number of firms are leading the charge by adopting policies that promote pro bono and count it as billable time. They match this with financial contributions to PBLO so that we can sustain programming for low-income Ontarians who do not qualify for legal aid for their civil, non-family, problems.
